Coconut Cake (German Dessert)




Ingredients:
For Base:
1. All purpose flour - 600 g (maida)
2. Sugar - 350 g
3. Butter Milk (Matha or Ghol) - 500 ml
4. Baking powder - 3 1/2 tsp
5. Vanilla sugar - 4 tsp
6. Salt - a pinch
7. Egg - 4
For Top:
1. Grated Coconut (Dry) - 200g
2. Sugar - 200 g - 1 1/2 cup
3. Whipped cream (Ghono dudh)- 400 ml - 2 cup
Method:
1. Transfer the eggs and sugar into a large bowl, beat until the sugar melt. add vanilla sugar, and beat for another 5 minutes
2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt before adding to cake mixture. Beat for another 2 minutes. Now add butter milk and mix well
3.  Brush butter or oil in a bake pan. Pour the mixer in the bake pan
4. Mix the grated coconut and sugar in a bowl. Sprinkle the coconut mixture onto your cake mixture
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes on 150 C pre-heated oven
6. Remove the cake from the oven and sprinkle the whipped cream on it

7. When the cake become cool, garnish it with cherry and serve.
